Mary Blair's Golden Books are Being Reprinted

As if yesterday’s news of the Nine Old Men flipbook set wasn’t tantalizing enough, there’s also the Mary Blair Treasury of Golden Books planned for release on August 7. The volume collects Mary Blair’s essential children’s book illustration, along with a foreword by her biographer John Canemaker. More from the publisher:

Tumblr Home to The Letter Parade Project by Dave Mott and Chris Yanc. The goal of this project is to create a Flashcard app that will help kids learn letters through visual elements. We hope these elements will help clearly communicate each letter. The goal is to engage parents as well as kids to identify the different letter's call-outs. Since this is our initial run, we're planning on adding more enhancements to these once the app is available.
